Vanetta Phillip is a graduate of The St.Joseph's Convent and holder of an Associate's Degree in Management Studies, she expressed her interest in Modelling at the age of seventeen and was introduced to Mr. Richard Young of Mannequins Image Management Caribbean out of Trinidad and Tobago.
Vanessa was aptly trained in Fashion Performance, Runway Skills, Make-up Artistry, Model Training and Artistic Direction. She then went on to train models of another local agency named De Ja Vu Reformation Advertising Modelling Agency (D.R.A.M.A) where she was a Senior Model and Co - Artistic Director.
Some years later she formed her own agency Evolution Model Management where she trained, managed and artistically directed a team of twelve models. Her agency was known for their signature fashion shows and some of her models have take part in local pageants and have graced major calendars.
Vanetta herself has graced Cable and Wireless' B Mobile Billboards across St.Lucia, as well as informational brochures. She has voiced radio ads and have appeared in a number of television ads in her home country and was a Lottery Draw Hostess for two years. She has written for a number of local publications such as Living Today Magazine, The Voice Newspaper, Yo! Magazine, Jazz Souvenir Magazine and Slush Magazine.
Vanetta's creative ability has spanned into Cosmetology, where she is a practicing Nail Technician and Hair Stylist. Her experience in the Caribbean Fashion and Modelling World for the past twenty years and counting has drawn her to be a Fashion Stylist, working on a number of photo shoots for established and upcoming models.
She opened the first ever Model Training School on the island, Modelles Magnifique Training School, which offers a six module course on all things fashion and modelling.
Though her business interests are wide: Public Relations, Social Media Management, Wedding Planning, Fashion, Hairdressing, Nail Technology and Make-up Artistry - her heart is in Model Training and her fire never goes out in this area.
She believes her faith in God encourages her to do all of what she does and more, and she believes she is more than capable of doing anything she puts her mind to.
